In our first episode, which launches at the start of Public Health England’s 2018 Conference, we’re looking at what public health can do tackle malnutrition. Alice Roe looks at how public health messaging can be confusing for older people who are losing weight unintentionally and what public health should be doing to raise awareness of malnutrition and encourage people to take weight loss in later life seriously.
We’re also joined by Dianne Jeffrey, Chairman of the Malnutrition Task Force, who gives an overview of the MTF, what we do and why we’re here, and Lesley Carter looks over some of the news stories that have caught our attention recently.
